While Atlanta, GA-based Anisa International, Inc., a manufacturer of cosmetic brushes, recently marked its factory’s six-year anniversary in Tianjin, China, the company also celebrated its successful multicultural partnership between American and Chinese employees.
   
Anisa Cosmetic Applicators (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. is the manufacturing facility for Anisa International, Inc., and is the only female, American-owned factory in China. Festivities to mark the milestone included prize drawings for televisions and bicycles for perfect employee attendance, presentations by both American and Chinese representatives, as well as a celebratory meal featuring traditional Chinese dishes.
 
President Anisa Telwar opened the brush factory in 2003 to enhance customer service and to better control the manufacturing process. The factory is considered a benchmark in the new generation of manufacturing facilities in China, bringing together the American standard of social and quality compliance with the dedication and determination of the Asian work ethic.
